Ginger, Fries Octopus and Evil Oyster
You were asking yourself the whole time how the texts by lyric poet Monika Rinck relate to her artistic intervention “The Lost World”? You would like to take a last look at the fries octopus or to purchase famous Don Broccoli by auction?
On sunday, the 23rd of July, you get the last chance to visit Rinck’s „Lost and Found“-Intervention at the Mineral Hall and to philosophize on the finding and losing of things while filling out forms with the experienced “Lost and Found”-officials Susanne Bredehöft and Thorsten Heidel.
At 3:30 p.m. you may directly define the value of objects in the intervention while buying art objects at an auction for a good cause. Artist Monika Rinck will be present and is looking forward to recount anecdotes on meatballs as sculptures, purses, notebooks, key rings and other meaningful material during the auction.
Meeting point: At the “Lost and Found” intervention The lost world which was designed by Monika Rinck for the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin.
Auction of objects: 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. | Mineral Hall
